This 30-minute treatment combines micro-needling with two skin-rejuvenating chemicals to tap into the body’s own power to renew its skin cells and lost collagen, while at the same time protecting it from free radicals and improving its hydration. Redermalization explained
From your mid-20s your skin will start to show signs of ageing. Diet, exercise and sensible sun-time can help you retain your youthful look, but everyone eventually suffers, to some degree, from a loss of hydration, collagen and elastin that creates lines, wrinkles and sagging skin. Redermalization acts to combat all these signs of ageing. By injecting a combination of two naturally occurring acids into your skin with fine micro-needles your body is stimulated to renew its own stocks of collagen and elastin, to better maintain its hydration levels and to protect itself from the free radicals that will prematurely age your skin
Who could benefit?

If you have fine lines
-
If you suffer from sagging or loose skin
-
If you are looking to reduce acne scarring

What to expect from your treatment?
-
The Consultation. The consultation element of your time with us is your opportunity to find out all you need to know about the treatment before we start, and to ask any questions you may have. We want every patient to have the right treatment for the right reasons at the right time, so we will always offer our advice on whether Redermalization is the best treatment for achieving the results you are after.
-
The Treatment. A course of three 30-minute treatments are recommended for you to see the best results, each treatment being two to three weeks apart. A topical aesthetic is applied to the skin to numb the area, then micro-needles are used to administer two chemicals – hyaluronic acid and succinic acid – which work together to both revitalise and protect your skin.
-
Downtime and Downside? You should expect to take at least a day off normal activity to allow for recovery after this treatment. You may experience some redness and tenderness where the micro-needles were used but this should fade within 24 hours at most.
-
How Long Does It Last? Within just a few weeks the benefits of this treatment will be seen, and they will then continue to blossom to their peak of between one and three months. An annual top-up is recommended for best results.
